The Firefighter Memorial Park was built in 2007 to commemorate 100 years of service by the Granbury Volunteer Fire Department, which was established in 1907. The park is for everyone to enjoy, and serves as a reminder to honor those who have selflessly served their community. This old western jail built in 1885 is complete with the original cell block and hanging tower. The museum also includes exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia depicting the history of Granbury and Hood County. The museum is generally open Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
